Ward Connerly, founder and President of the American Civil Rights Institute, will talk about "Rebuilding America in the Post-Obama Era." Connerly is outspoken and advocates equal opportunity for all Americans regardless of race, sex or ethnic background. As a past member of the University of California Board of Regents, he questioned the University's race-based system of preferences in its admissions policy. In July 1995, following Connerly's lead, a majority of the Regents voted to end the University's use of race as a means for admission.
Connerly has been profiled on "60 Minutes," the "Wall Street Journal," "New York Times," "Newsweek" and in other major news publications in America, and has been the recipient of multiple honors and recognitions.
