Sacramento, Calif. – Linda McMahon, an ultra-successful businesswoman and former Republican senatorial candidate, will deliver a midday address at the California Republican Party 2018 Convention and Candidate Fair on Saturday, May 5, in San Diego.

McMahon, with her husband Vince, founded World Wrestling Entertainment, an immensely popular wrestling organization to which she served as chief executive. Her business acumen helped transform WWE from a 13-person regional operation in Stamford, Connecticut, to a publicly-traded, worldwide enterprise employing more than 800 people.

The wrestling magnate was consistently regarded as one of the top female executives in the country prior to stepping down to make consecutive runs for U.S. Senate in Connecticut, winning the Republican nomination both times.

She is a champion of small business and entrepreneurship, is a longtime advocate for women in leadership and business and is a graduate of East Carolina University.

“Linda McMahon is an excellent example for women in the workplace,” said Jim Brulte, chairman of California Republican Party. “Considering everything she has accomplished, I can’t wait to hear her insights on both entrepreneurship and how California Republicans can build on the success of Republicans throughout the country.”
