California Republican Party Chairman Jim Brulte Elected to RNC Convention Site Selection Committee

NASHVILLE, TN. – Today, California Republican Party Chairman Jim Brulte was elected by Republican National Committee members from the Western Region to serve on the RNC Convention Site Selection Committee.

"I am honored that the Republican National Committee members from the Western Region elected me to this very important position," said Chairman Jim Brulte. "National Party conventions occur only once every 4 years. Helping make sure the right city with the right resources is critical to making our 2020 convention a success."

The Site Selection Committee is comprised of 12 distinguished members from four regions - Western, Midwestern, Northeastern and Southern. The committee is responsible for seeking out potential sites for the next national convention and recommending a site to the RNC for selection. These 12 individuals have an important task ahead of them: choosing the best place for our party to formally introduce our 2020 nominee to the country.

"We are blessed to have Jim Brulte on our committee," said Site Selection Committee Chairman Ron Kaufman. "I've had the honor and privilege to work with Jim for decades, and he will bring a unique perspective to the committee."
