CRP Chairman Ron Nehring Statement On Remembrance Of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring today issued the following statement concerning the remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.:

"The California Republican Party honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr as we work to turn his vision of equality and opportunity into enduring reality.
 
"Though his faith, leadership, and power of speech, Dr. King gave a new voice and courage to millions of Americans. Through his leadership of a movement, which today is still understood through the mention of his name, he helped millions in this country realize their basic rights and full dignity and respect as human beings and Americans."
