Statement By California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring On The Retirement Of Congressman John Doolittle

(Sacramento) - California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring today issued the following statement in response to Congressman John Dootlittle's retirement from the U.S. House of Representatives:
"Congressman John Doolittle's decision to retire from the House of Representatives will conclude nine terms of representing California's Fourth Congressional District. I join with the people of his district in thanking him for his nearly two decades of public service.
"The Fourth Congressional District of California is one of the most Republican in the state and has consistently sent Republican representation to Washington. The California Republican Party, together with our county Republican committees, will work diligently to ensure the people of this district continue to benefit from Republican leadership in Congress."
