CRP CHAIRMAN RON NEHRING ISSUES STATEMENT ON GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER'S DECISIVE ACTION REGARDING CALIFORNIA'S BUDGET

(SACRAMENTO) - California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring today issued the following statement regarding California’s 2008 budget deficit. 

"Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger deserves credit for his willingness to deal with California’s looming $14 billion deficit by acting quickly to bring state spending closer in line with revenues. 

"The Governor has shown true leadership on this issue.  Decisive action taken now will make this challenge more manageable next year."
