ASSEMBLY REPUBLICANS REMAIN UNITED
California Crime Victims Will Not Be Silenced By Democrat Punishments

The recent eviction of Assemblyman Todd Spitzer from his legislative office for expressing his opinion on public safety and California's prison crisis continues to demonstrate that Assembly Speaker Fabian Nùñez is nothing more than a petulant bully.

This is the same Fabian Nùñez who complained and whined when Cardinal Mahoney criticized his position on assisted suicide and who continues to whine and issue threats against Republicans because they have a different view on immigration.

Speaker Nùñez' excuse that the move was attributed to routine reshuffling is laughable. If Nùñez was man enough to levy the punishment, he should be man enough to stand by and defend his decision.

The petty, childish punishments levied by Speaker Nùñez have further united Republicans in their commitment to protect the safety of California's families and ensure that victims of crime have an advocate and voice.  Californians can be proud that Assemblyman Spitzer will not be bullied or apologetic for protecting California families, and he will continue speaking out for those who most need it with his head held high.
