As Americans are paying record-high gas prices nationwide, Barack Obama has changed his position on providing hardworking Americans with much-needed gas tax relief this summer. Despite supporting a gas tax holiday during his time as an Illinois state Senator, Barack Obama said that John McCain’s proposal to save motorists $6.8 billion in taxes is a "bad idea."
