Patricia Welch

Patricia Welch was elected unanimously as Secretary of the California Republican Party in March of 2011. She previously served as Northwest Regional Vice Chairman of the California Republican Party in September 2008 and is currently Chairman of the Humboldt County Republican Party.

Since getting her feet wet in politics with Ronald Reagan`s 1980 Presidential race, Patricia has worked on numerous campaigns throughout her career. With expertise in grassroots campaigns, she served as Regional Field Director and Political Director (Northern California) for the successful California Victory 2006 effort. In 2004, Patricia was the Orance County Regional Chairman for Bill Jones for U.S. Senate. Patricia was the Precinct Coordinator for the Republican Party of Orange County in 1999 and has served as Volunteer Coordinator for several City Council and Mayoral contests in her hometown of Orange, CA.

Patricia has been active in the California Federation of Republican Women for nearly 20 years, holding leadership positions at all levels. Currently, she serves as CFRW Chairman of Leadership Development, and as Region XIII Director for CFRW`s Northern Division. She is a graduate of the Inaugural class of CWLA`s 2004 Marion Bergeson Excellence in Public Service Series.

Patricia holds a B.A. in Organizational Management and serves as an Account Executive with K Street Communications.
